  • Why do the training?

One thing we should know about communication is that it is impossible not to communicate. We can communicate using words, the tone of our voice, facial expression, space between the interlocutors, and gestures. It is important for our communication to bring the expected results, which depends on how we pass on information.

  • Who is the training for?

This workshop is aimed at those of us who would like to learn about effective ways of communicating with others in such situations which so far may have seemed difficult, or even hopeless. It is for everybody who wants people to listen to him because they want to and not because they have to.

  • What do we do at ACT?

Our training sessions focus on practical communication within a team from the perspective of results which we want to achieve. You will learn to act in a dynamic and effective way, to be more sensitive to yourself and others and, above all, you will receive specific tools that can be used immediately.

We show our training participants how to look for understanding and not to look for someone to blame. It is possible thanks to the ability to establish contact on numerous levels simultaneously.

We explain how to listen skillfully and direct the conversation in such a way so as to involve the interlocutor and be able to express our beliefs effectively. We also show you how to give feedback to motivate others to change their behaviour, or how to spot and overcome communication traps, such as: generalisations, hidden agendas, mind reading, associating the person with action. You will practise how to communicate according to your intentions, without explaining yourself, threatening, or giving orders.

  • How do we do it?

We base our practice on the latest findings in the area of psychology, sociology and marketing, that have been analysed, tried, tested and described within the last 20 years, employing such tools as:

  • Passing on information in a coherent and respectful (for both parties) manner
  • the experience that effectiveness is not a result of the compromise with the ethics, but it is a fruit of integrity and the belief in our capabilities and the capabilities of other people
  • working with the Von Thun Model and the Logical Levels by Robert Dilts.
  • VAKOG and hidden strategies, or metaprogrammes
  • specifying the frames of communication.
