Dominika Uzar

Dominika graduated from the English Philology department of Warsaw Higher Pedagogical School (WSP TWP) with a BA title in 2002. She has also gained international teaching/methodological qualifications: CELTA (2003) and DELTA (2005) and a certificate of NLP Practitioner (2009).

She is currently studying Psychology of Organisation Management at the centre of post-graduate studies of the Warsaw Higher School of Psychology (SWPS).

Having spent ten years running General, Business and specialised open English courses (e.g. presentations, HR, finance, business correspondence) for a vast array of business clients,. she's highly regarded for being an energetic, joyful and demanding teacher who manages to make even the most complicated material look easy and a pleasure to learn.

Dominika joined the ACT team in February 2006. First as an Assistant Academic Manager, then, since 2007, as a Manager with responsibility for maintaining the quality of language training, supporting teachers in their day-to-day work and organizing internal Teacher Training workshops.

In her private life, she passionately practices yoga and pilates, rides a city bike and adores British humour, Brit pop and reggae music.
