Professional & Business English

The aim of the Professional & Business English courses is to increase your ability to communicate in English in a professional environment. The course programme is prepared individually for specific courses, based on the needs and expectations expressed by the training participants and their superiors. Each of the classes is planned in a particular way that helps the participants acquire new language skills via realistic practice scenarios set in a communicative context which is closely related to their own environment and interests.

Due to the vast scope of our training participants' needs and objectives, we propose three different learning formulas for the Professional & Business English courses:

• Effective Communication at Work
  This type of language training method is for those who would like to communicate effectively in English in various work-related situations at present or in the future. The Effective Communication at Work courses also help people to steadily develop language competences in different topic areas connected with their professional environment. The training programme comprises a wide range language skills which are practised both in written and verbal forms.
   
• Tailor-Made Professional Communication
  This programme is aimed at those participants who strive to become more effective at work in the current professional areas involving their use of English, or who are preparing for taking over new duties (requiring greater fluency) in the nearest future. The course focuses on increasing the language competences described by the participants or their superiors as the most important or the most challenging for them (e.g. spoken communication, participating in telephone conversations, welcoming visitors, etc.). Such a training formula allows for faster progress in the selected language areas.
   
• Specialised Language Training
  Specialised language courses focus on one selected skill area (e.g. delivering presentations or effective negotiating) or topic area (e.g. finance, law, or logistics) which is of special importance to participants. The training sessions are conducted by teachers who specialise in the selected field and they provide participants with an opportunity to make greater progress in the selected area of language competences.
